For decades, the federal government has infiltrated dangerous organizations with the intent of facilitating the planning of heinous crimes and then arresting members before they were able to commit them.
That appears to have been the case earlier this week when federal authorities arrested a trio of men who may have been plotting to attack attendees of the recent Second Amendment rally held in Richmond, Va., with the intent of sowing chaos and, perhaps, lead state legislators to adopt strict new gun control laws.
Big League Politics reported Tuesday that in the lead-up to the Richmond rally, which was attended by a record 25,000-plus people, the Deep State-aligned “mainstream media” was breathlessly reporting that ‘neo-Nazi’ and ‘white supremacist’ groups were planning to attend in force, with the objective of starting trouble.
As it turned out, none of those dire predictions came true, as there were no instances of violence recorded despite the fact that the vast majority of people who showed up were well-armed.
However, “there were three men accused of being involved with the neo-nazi group The Base that were arrested last week,” Big League Politics reported, adding:
They were arrested on weapons’ charges as well as the bizarre charge of harboring an illegal immigrant from Canada. It was claimed by authorities without any evidence being provided to the public that they were planning a violent display at the Capitol rally.
Though the story spread through the mainstream media over the course of a 24-hour news cycle, there were few details provided including this one: That the group of men arrested may have been set up by the Feds.
One member of the group, Yousef O. Barasneh, 22, had a prior arrest last year in Racine, Wis., with vandalization of a Jewish synagogue. “Court records show that a federal informant had been giving orders to members of the hate group to commit acts of anti-Semitic terror,” BLP reported.
The week prior, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported that a key figure within The Base had become a federal informant who was responsible for ordering the anti-Semitic attacks.
The paper noted:
One of the group’s ringleaders became an informant and gave investigators details over the past several months. The documents in Barasneh’s case do not name the person but note he has been federally charged in another state for his role.
The man admitted he directed the group to vandalize minority-owned properties, calling it “Operation Kristallnacht,” a reference to Nazi Germany and the night Jewish homes, hospitals and other properties were ransacked and destroyed.
“If there’s a window that wants to be broken, don’t be shy,” the man told federal investigators. (Related: Virginia State Senator warns pro-2A demonstrators being set up for staged terrorism event on Monday, “Lobby Day” in Virginia… “KILL ZONE” trap constructed by Dems.)
If this was a Fed-run operation, and it certainly sounds like it was, it wouldn’t be the first time the FBI has infiltrated groups and used them to commit acts of violence on the way to arresting ‘bigger fish.’
That includes one-time Ku Klux Klan leader George Dorsett of Greensboro, N.C., who was paid off for years by the FBI while still burning crosses, and notorious hate monger Hal Turner, who was also a paid federal informant.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel noted that in all, at least six men were arrested last week in connection with The Base and alleged attempts to cause mayhem and even some deaths at the Richmond pro-gun rally.
“Federal authorities said the men were discussing traveling to a pro-gun rally in Richmond, Virginia, on Monday and firing shots from different locations in hopes of creating chaos,” the paper reported.
The problem with this kind of federal infiltration of dangerous organizations is figuring out what the FBI’s real objectives are. In the case of Richmond, was it to ‘catch white supremacists’ and advance that narrative, see more gun control enacted, or both?
