The worst thing about jumping to conclusions, especially in these hyper-partisan times, is that first impressions about incidents posted to social media are most often wrong.
That’s because video can be misleading and has been; it can be manipulated and has been; it can be taken widely out of context and has been.
Thus, we were not quick to pass judgment on 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, the youngster charged with first-degree murder for killing two rioters in Kenosha, Wis., earlier this week, while wounding a third.
Footage containing a new angle of the Kenosha, Wisconsin, shooting from two nights ago shows a now-wounded protester attempt to pull a pistol on the alleged teenage gunman first.
[Rittenhouse] from Illinois faces first degree murder charges for a triple shooting during a riot in the Wisconsin city that cost the lives of two protesters and seriously wounded another.
The third protester, Gaige Grosskreutz, was left with a cavity in his bicep as the round fired from Rittenhouse’s rifle tore flesh away.
As you may have heard, there are a number of reports floating around online that Rittenhouse and others who were armed and in the city trying to protect private property from looters and rioters were part of “white supremacist” organizations and “militias,” but as usual, those claims were nothing more than Left-wing fiction.
The first video that went viral allegedly shows Rittenhouse firing at three or more people as he was being chased down a street and clubbed by a thug with a skateboard.
But a new video and angle appears to indicate that the man Rittenhouse allegedly wounded was drawing down on him with a handgun.

“Game over. That’s it. Continuing the prosecution is now illegal and grounds for disbarment of all prosecutors on this case,” indy journalist Mike Cernovich wrote.

You’ll note in the first video that Rittenhouse is being chased by a group of rioters and thugs. Reports over the past few days indicated that the youth had previously shot another rioter in the head and killed him. But The New York Times reports that shooter is unknown, The National File noted. (Related: Video evidence proves BLM thugs shot at Rittenhouse FIRST, proving he was only firing back in self-defense.)
And there’s even more evidence that Rittenhouse was in danger.
***Warning: Graphic Images***
“A friend of the man who rushed at the #Kenosha teen with a pistol and was shot in the arm has posted an update about his status. Doctors were able to save Gaige Grosskreutz’s right arm. The friend says Gaige regrets not being able to kill the teen,” independent journalist Andy Ngo posted on Twitter.
He also notes that Grosskreutz is a member of a Left-wing ‘revolution’ group.

“The third who was shot (& survived) is Gaige Grosskreutz, 26. He’s a member of the People’s Revolution Movement. He was filmed chasing after the teen w/a pistol. He was shot at close-range in the upper arm. He has a criminal record that includes being intoxicated & armed w/a gun,” he wrote.
A friend of Grosskruetz’s, Jacob Marshall, posted on Facebook in response to another user, “[S]o] the kid shot gaige as he drew his weapon and gaige retreated with his gun in hand. I just talked to Gaige Grosskreutz too[]his only regret was not killing the kid and hesitating to pull the gun before emptying the entire mag into him. Coward.”
This all seems like game, set and match in terms of clearing Rittenhouse. But we’ll have to see; justice seems to be elusive these days for people trying to stop riots while people who start them get away with anything.
