In a stunning revelation that should alarm every American, Vice President J.D. Vance has accused the Biden administration of knowingly allowing violent criminals to roam freely in the United States, despite having the information needed to apprehend and deport them.
Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Jan. 29, Vance described the situation as one of the most shocking developments of the past week, calling it a dereliction of duty that should outrage the conscience of the nation.
According to him, the Biden administration was fully aware of the names and addresses of dangerous individuals who entered the country illegally and committed violent crimes. Yet, instead of taking action to remove these threats from American communities, the administration chose to do nothing. This inaction, Vance argued, represents a catastrophic failure of leadership and a blatant disregard for the safety and security of American citizens. The vice president’s comments come in the wake of President Donald Trump’s recent crackdown on illegal immigration, which has led to the arrest of numerous criminal migrants. Vance revealed that many of these individuals were already known to federal authorities, with their locations and identities on file. The only thing missing, he said, was the political will to enforce the law.
“What is shocking to me is that many of these violent criminals—we knew their addresses, we knew their names. We just needed to send somebody to go to their house and get them the hell out of the country,” Vance said. “But for four years, the Biden administration sat on this information, leaving these dangerous individuals free to prey on innocent Americans.”
Vance’s remarks highlight a disturbing pattern of negligence under the previous administration. Critics of Trump’s immigration policies often argued that deporting criminal migrants would be difficult because authorities didn’t know where they were. However, Vance pointed out that this claim was false.
“It turns out we actually do know where a lot of them are,” he said. “We just haven’t had immigration enforcement. And that’s what’s changed.”
The vice president contrasted the Biden administration’s inaction with the second Trump administration’s swift and decisive measures. In just eight days, Vance argued, the new administration has accomplished more to secure the border and protect American communities than the Biden administration did in four years. “And of course, the things that we’re accomplishing are actually good things,” he added.
Vance also pointed to recent clashes between Border Patrol agents and Mexican drug cartels as evidence of the second Trump administration’s proactive approach to border security. These military-style engagements are a direct result of empowering law enforcement to do their jobs – something that was sorely lacking under Biden.
“Why wasn’t that happening a couple of years ago? Because they weren’t empowered to do their job,” Vance told Hannity. “The border has become so lawless that we’re actually engaging in military-style engagements just to regain control of our southern border.”
As the second Trump administration works to undo the damage of the past four years, Vance’s revelations serve as a stark reminder of what is at stake in the fight for border security. The American people deserve leaders who prioritize their safety and enforce the rule of law.
